Ashley Taylor-Watts

Director / Senior Architect
Since joining Define in 2020, Ashley has contributed to and led a wide range of complex, high value projects. Her design approach is focused around materiality and rigour through her passion to deliver projects that are technically excellent, which ensure the quality and longevity of projects.

Her focus is on designing and delivering high value private and multi-residential projects, with a particular focus on functional & simplistic design. Current projects include Great Clowes Street, a 25-unit residential scheme in Salford, which is set within the cartilage of one of Salford’s oldest Listed Buildings with a challenging streetscape.

She is passionate about enhancing social value in the industry and bridging the gap between practices. Ashley’s experience mainly focuses around listed buildings, working on a variety of Grade II* listed schools around London and locally listed building projects for residential developments. Her experience ranges across all RIBA stages, with particular emphasis on detailed planning applications, as well as on-site coordination and construction drawings.
