Jack joined Define in 2023 as a Part I Architectural Assistant, on his placement year out from Loughborough University, which he has since completed with a first-class degree. He has returned to a part-time position at Depict Studio as the in-house visualiser.
Jack is particularly interested in how projects can reference a site's history while remaining contemporary in approach and how this can be represented and communicated through architectural drawings. He also enjoys exploring concepts and designs through physical models and other media.
Jack juggles his visualisation duties with his musical responsibilities as the unanimously elected resident office DJ. With a finely attuned music taste, you can expect tunes ranging from his beloved James Blunt to lively D&B and house sets - a pick me up often required after the subdued romantic melancholy state that James ' emotionally vocalised acoustic ballads can tend to leave you in.
