Ellie Platt

Part II Architectural Assistant
Ellie joined Define in April 2022 as a Part I Architectural Assistant, after completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Liverpool. She then continued to work at the practice part-time whilst returning the University of Liverpool for her Master’s, which she completed in June 2025 with a first-class degree. Both Ellie’s thesis and dissertation explored inclusive design catering for vulnerable demographics, with a particular focus on individuals with autism. This led to a strong interest in the community, care, and education sectors.

Having returned to Define full-time as a Part II Architectural Assistant, Ellie has experience in working across a wide range of sectors, including one-off houses and extensions, school refurbishments, dementia and elderly care, apartments blocks and sports facilities. Ellie has worked on projects from concept to completion and has a keen interest in creating detailed and curated interiors.
